I had an idea for a fun project I wanted to try and bring to life during my time at the Berlin E-Prix... having contacted the Andretti Formula E team's media folks, we formulated a plan. I visited their garage on the Thursday afternoon and was introduced to the Formula E World Champion of 2023, Jake Dennis, and his teammate Norman Nato. Jake remembered that I'd been on his flight from London to Berlin the day before!
The idea was explained to them: I had a disposable camera and asked the drivers to take photos of anything they liked across the weekend: themselves, the garage, the team, the cars, anything at all. I'd collect the camera back at the end of Sunday, and develop the film on return to the UK.
We filmed a short introduction video, where I passed the camera to Jake, who took a photo of Norman.
